Age 69, passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at Optalis Health and Rehabilitation in Ann Arbor, MI. She was born September 20, 1954 in Ypsilanti, MI, the daughter of Joseph and Diana (Geesey) Duperon.

Wilma was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church in Ypsilanti. She enjoyed attending church services, going to the Full Circle Club in Ypsilanti, playing bingo and shopping.

Wilma is survived by her sister Shirley (Roger) Watts, several nieces and nephews, and friend Joyce Vargason.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Joseph Paul Duperon and Frank Richard Duperon; and sister Geneva Elizabeth Duperon.

A funeral service will be held 12 pm Friday, December 8, 2023 at First Free Will Baptist Church (1244 Holmes Road, Ypsilanti) with visitation beginning at 11 am. Brother Walker Harris will officiate. The family will receive friends at Stark Funeral Professionals 4-7 pm Thursday, December 7, 2023 (101 S. Washington Street, Ypsilanti).

Wilma will be laid to rest in Union-Udell Cemetery, Ypsilanti Township. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital online or by mail: 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
