Marcum, William Thomas Jr.

Ann Arbor, MI

Age 61, went home to join his wife, father and grandparents Tuesday, May 10, 2022. He was born July 11, 1960 in Ypsilanti, MI, the son of William Thomas Sr. and Janice (Moran) Marcum.

William married Kimberly Meirka July 30, 1982 and they shared 26 loving years prior to her passing in 2008. He spent many hours volunteering at the Center for Independent Living and St. Joseph Mercy Hospital. He also enjoyed going to church and was baptized in 2017. William was a champion Wii bowler and liked to go on adventures in his wheelchair.  He loved to tinker with electronics and was a technological wizard in his own home, making it almost fully automated with voice command technology.

William is survived by his mother, siblings Rick (Kat) Marcum and Cathy (Robert) Bell; uncle Jerry (Janet) Moran, and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his wife, father and grandparents.
