Deuel, William H.

Age 80, passed away Sunday, February 11, 2024 at Trinity Health Ann Arbor Hospital. He was born May 9, 1943 in Jackson, MI, the son of Frederick Deuel and Mary (Waudby) Lewis.

William enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and riding motorcycles. He loved golfing and tinkering with small engines. He was a very creative woodworker who often made things to use around the house or gifts for others.

William is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Jill (Rainsberger) Deuel, son Christopher (Raquel) Deuel, grandchildren Rachel (Christopher) Arnold, William C. Deuel, Kyle Deuel and Jessica Deuel; great-grandchildren Tristan, Elizabeth, Carmen and Christopher; and siblings John (Sandy) Halchishak, Eric (Deborah) Halchishak and Maureen (Don) Darville.

He was preceded in death by his father who died in action in World War II, his mother (August 9, 2001) and his brother John Thomas Doyle.

The family has chosen simple cremation.
