Dean, William "Bill"

Age 87, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2024 in Ann Arbor, MI. He was born September 9, 1936 in Jackson, MI, the son of David and Marian (Tompkins) Dean.

Bill worked as an electrician at Ford Motor Company for 36.5 years and proudly served in the U.S. Navy. In his free time, Bill enjoyed snowmobiling and being at the beach on Lake Superior. An avid joke teller, he was also a member of the Moose Lodge and Masonic Temple and the Masonic Temple Phoenix Lodge.

Bill is survived by his son Christopher (Laura) Dean, grandchildren Trevor Dean and Tyler Dean; and sisters Linda Moore and Cynthia Buchanon.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers James Dean and Thomas Dean.

The family has chosen simple cremation.
