Wendy Sue Kline (Martin)
November 17, 1960 – April 1, 2026

Wendy Sue Kline, age 65, of Ypsilanti, Michigan, went to be with the Lord on April 1, 2026. A lifelong resident of the Ypsilanti area, Wendy lived a life rooted in faith, family, and kindness.

Wendy was the beloved wife of Larry Kline, with whom she shared 47 loving years. Married on December 31, 1979, in Toledo, Ohio, their marriage was a true testament to enduring love and partnership. Together, they built a strong and devoted family that remained at the center of Wendy's life.

She was a loving mother to Aaron Kline, Nathan Kline, and Crystal (Raymond) Evens, and an exceptional and deeply cherished "Grandbonie" to her grandchildren: Kendrick and Willa Kline; Kameron, Ethan, Lukas, and Kelsie Kline; and Myleah, Joshua, Keirah, and Alyzah Evens. Wendy's love for her family was boundless, and she took great joy in every moment spent with them.

Wendy dedicated many years of service to Ann Arbor Public Schools as a groundskeeper before continuing her career with Ford Motor Company, where she worked for nearly 15 years. She was known for her strong work ethic and dependable nature.

Outside of work, Wendy found joy in life's simple treasures. She loved wandering, especially when it led her to a thrift store, yard sale, or estate sale—always excited for her next special find. She enjoyed reading, had a deep appreciation for wildlife, and could often be found feeding the animals near her home by the creek. That creek was her peaceful place—a space where she would think, pray, and reflect.

Wendy never met a stranger. Her warmth, kindness, and selflessness left a lasting impression on everyone she encountered. To know Wendy was to know true compassion—she consistently put others before herself and had a heart big enough to welcome anyone in need.

She was preceded in death by her father, Dean Edward Martin; her mother, Donna Kay Strugar (Bussinger); her brother, Drew Martin; and her sister, Tara Martin.

Wendy is survived by her devoted husband, Larry Kline; her children, Aaron and Nathan Kline, and Crystal (Raymond) Evens; her cherished grandchildren, Kendrick and Willa Kline, Kameron, Ethan, Lukas, and Kelsie Kline, and Myleah, Joshua, Keirah, and Alyzah Evens; her sister, Lori Martin; her nieces, Emily Harris, Dana Martin, and Shelby Martin; her nephews, Brian Harris, Almer Harris Jr., and Drew Harris; as well as her great-nieces, Maria and Andrea Martin, and her great-nephew, Kaleb Martin.

Wendy's faith was a guiding force throughout her life. She was baptized at Willis Baptist Church in 1984 and was a faithful member of Pineview Church for over 15 years. There, she was known for her servant's heart and willingness to help anyone in need, embodying the church's mission to "go love."

A memorial service celebrating Wendy's life will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at Pineview Church, 6400 Textile Road, Ypsilanti, MI. Family will receive visitors 5-6 pm, followed by the service at 6 pm, officiated by Pastor Nathaniel Nix. She will be laid to rest in a private family memorial.

Wendy's life was a beautiful reflection of faith, love, and generosity. Her legacy will live on in the many lives she touched and the family she so deeply cherished.
