Vicki Lynn Hilobuk (née Chaput), age 73, of Ypsilanti, MI, passed away peacefully on April 5, 2026. She was born on August 8, 1952, in Ypsilanti, MI.

Vicki spent most of her life in the Ypsilanti area, where she built a life centered around family, hard work, and her love of nature. She dedicated over 20 years of service to the Ypsilanti Community Utilities Authority before retiring.

Vicki had a deep love for animals, especially horses and dogs, and found joy in the beauty of nature. She cherished time spent with her family and loved traveling, creating many special memories along the way.

She is lovingly remembered by her sons, Jeremy (Tracy) and Ryan (Mehgan) Hilobuk; her grandchildren, Trevor, Connor (Kendall), Collin, Elliot, Nollan, and Kyllie Hilobuk; and her great-grandchildren, Hailey, Jett, Brynn, and another boy expected very soon.  She is also survived by her loving sister, Lori Chaput, nephew Cory (and family), niece Chelsea (and family), and Shelby (and family).

Vicki was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Margie Chaput; and her brother, Garry Chaput.

Vicki will be remembered for her kind heart, her love of family, and the warmth she brought to those around her. Her presence will be deeply missed and forever cherished.

A memorial service will be held at 1 pm Sunday, April 19, 2026 at Stark Funeral Professionals with visitation beginning at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Michigan Alzheimer's Disease Center or the Humane Society of Huron Valley .
