Our walking miracle of a mother and loving wife sadly passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at the age of 64. She was the heart of our family and always there when we needed her.

Tina was born February 6, 1958 in Ypsilanti, MI, the daughter of Marvin and Phyllis (Brayman) Boprie.

She was a full-time mom to her own and those she saw every day at school. She retired from Willow Run Community schools as a special education Paraprofessional. We were so proud of her determination to help shape lives of the young ones as long as her health would let her.

Tina enjoyed baking, sewing, gardening and camping. She was passionate about animals and adored her pets. She loved making crafts with her grandkids and treasured the time she spent with them. Family was Tina's top priority, always putting others before herself.

Tina is survived by Wayne Johnson, her husband of 46 years, children Kristina (Andrew) Chatters, Katie (Greg) Smith and Kyle (Kari) Johnson; grandchildren Gabby, Abby, Christopher, Matthew, Brianna, Dayn and Jack; and siblings Marvin Boprie, Judy Harrington, Jerry Boprie, David Boprie and Carol Boprie-Daniel.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Jim Boprie.

A funeral service will be held 1 pm Monday, December 5, 2022 at Stark Funeral Professionals with visitation beginning at 11 am. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 3-8 pm Sunday, December 4, 2022. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Humane Society of Huron Valley are appreciated.
