Theresa Lynn (Goddard) Green, age 59, of Ypsilanti, MI, went home to be with the Lord on April 11, 2026. She was born on June 14, 1966, in Ypsilanti, the daughter of Harold and Wavelyn (Smith) Goddard.

Theresa dedicated 35 years of service as a custodial technician at the University of Michigan. She was known for her strong work ethic, reliability, and the pride she took in her work. She loved nature and especially enjoyed spending time outdoors, where she felt the most at peace.

She married Michael Green in 1991. Together they shared many years of love, partnership, and devotion.

Theresa is survived by her loving husband, Michael Green; dog, Clover; brother, Tim Goddard; mother-in-law, Darlene Green; brother-in-law, David Green; aunts, Rebecca Pintar and Brenda Hammond; and cousins, Bubby and Denice.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Wavelyn Goddard.

Cremation has taken place, and there are no services planned at this time.
