Teri Lee Nesbitt, age 62, of Wayne, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 30, 2025, at Angela Hospice in Livonia, Michigan. She was born May 9, 1963, in Wayne, the daughter of Robert and Lillian (Zimmerman) Nesbitt.

Teri dedicated over 20 years of service as a dispatch coordinator at Corewell Health Dearborn Hospital, where she was known for her reliability, compassion, and kind spirit. A woman of quiet faith, she was a parishioner of the First Congregational Church of Wayne.

Teri found joy in life's simple pleasures—sewing, cooking, baking, and cozy evenings spent watching Disney movies. She loved listening to R&B and pop music and took great delight in celebrating holidays with her family.

She is survived by her beloved son, Kenneth Nesbitt-Gillespie; her siblings, Robert (Ann) Nesbitt, Michael Nesbitt, Cheryl (Michael) Tomkovich, James Nesbitt, and LisaAnn (Paul) Throne; along with many dear nieces, nephews, co-workers, and friends who will miss her deeply.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister-in-law, Cynthia Nesbitt; and her former spouse, Kenneth Gillespie.

In keeping with Teri's wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal services are planned at this time.
