Brown, Susan Ellen "Grandma Sue"

Ypsilanti, MI

Age 80, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at Michigan Medicine in Ann Arbor, MI. She was born February 16, 1945 in Ann Arbor, the daughter of Robert and Alice (Wilson) Cranson. She married Walter Kenneth "Ken" Brown in 1967 and he preceded her in death.

Grandma Sue was employed as a special education teacher with Willow Run Schools for 30 years. She was a parishioner of First United Methodist Church. She loved quilting, cooking and spending time with friends and family.

Grandma Sue is survived by her son Kenneth Dale (Jackie) Brown, grandsons Kenneth Bryce (Ashley) Brown and Blayne Howard Brown; great-grandchildren Charlotte Ashlyn Brown and Carter Kenneth Brown; siblings Lee (Jim) Neidhart, Jane Goodrich, Betsy Bricker and Robert "Bob" (Barb) Cranson; and sisters-in-law Debbie (Bob) Randolph and Gail McCallister.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and sister-in-law Pamela Sadewasser.

Per Grandma Sue's request, there will not be a service.
