Susan Diane Mysyk, age 74, went home to be with the Lord on February 28, 2026, in Canton, Michigan. She was born December 1, 1951, in Norton, Virginia, the daughter of Tony and Mary (Kaylor) Mullins. At the age of four, Susan moved with her family to Michigan, where she would build a life centered around faith, family, and fun. She spent most of her years in Ypsilanti.

Susan began her working life early, graduating from cosmetology school at just 16 years old and enjoying many years as a talented hairdresser. Later, she worked as a teller at TCF Bank for 15 years, retiring in 2000.

A devoted member of Faith Baptist Church in Adrian, Susan's faith was an important part of her life. She loved listening to country and gospel music, Motown classics, and she was especially fond of Bob Seger and Elvis Presley. She had a deep love for the water and enjoyed traveling and seeking out new adventures whenever she could.

Susan had a joyful and playful spirit. She was wonderfully silly, often dancing down the grocery store aisles or turning a simple car ride into a full-blown concert, making those around her laugh and feel loved. Her laughter and lightheartedness will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her daughters, Tracie (Brian) Kelham and Tina (David) Ingram; her brother, Richard Mullins; her grandchildren, Hannah Kelham (Kyle O'Brien) Nadia Kelham, Alexander Ingram, and Jeremy Ingram; her nephew, Cody Mullins; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Brenda Sexton; her niece, Melissa Sexton; and her nephew, Jeff Sexton.

A funeral service will be held 11 am Thursday, March 5, 2026 at Stark Funeral Professionals with visitation beginning at 10 am. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 4-8 pm Wednesday, March 4, 2026.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Arbor Hospice or Hospice of Michigan .
