Anderson, Susan Marie (Stephenson)

Ypsilanti, MI

Age 64, went home to be with the Lord Friday, June 17, 2022 in Ann Arbor, MI. She was born October 5, 1957 in Ypsilanti, MI, the daughter of Pete and Christine (Wiley) Stephenson.

Susan worked as a medical stockkeeper for many years. On June 29, 1985, she married Randolph "Randy" Anderson and he survives. She was an active member of Ypsilanti Assembly of God and supported many church activities; including serving on the church board and maintaining the prayer chain.

Susan enjoyed amateur radio, computer coloring books and was part of a 50-person Toon Blast team. She was known for helping her many close friends, possessed a huge heart and cared about others deeply. Her infectious smile and laugh will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Susan is survived by her husband Randy Anderson, mother Christine Stephenson, brother Wayne Stephenson, an uncle, an aunt, many cousins around the country, nieces and nephews through marriage, and many friends around the world.

She was preceded in death by her father Pete Stephenson.

A funeral service will be held 11 am Thursday, June 23, 2022 at Ypsilanti Assembly of God (701 Holmes Road, Ypsilanti, MI) with visitation beginning at 10 am. Pastor Jesse Yoder will officiate. The family will receive friends at Stark Funeral Professionals (101 S. Washington Street, Ypsilanti, MI) 5-8 pm Wednesday, June 22, 2022. Susan will be laid to rest at Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton Township, MI.
