Stu Norman passed away on Monday, November 18, 2024, at the age of 72. He fought a long and courageous battle with lung cancer. Although he was still not ready to give up, God called him home.

He was born on September 20, 1952, in Detroit, MI. He grew up in southern Florida and after graduating high school, he moved back to Michigan where he met his wife, Pamela. They married at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church on July 21, 1973.

Stu worked in the auto industry as an engineer where he enjoyed teaching younger coworkers from his years of experience. He was a history buff and almost became a history teacher. He was an avid reader, especially of nonfiction and historical novels. He enjoyed baseball and rooted for the Detroit Tigers.

Stu was dedicated to his family and extremely caring. He was a wonderful father and supported his daughters in their extra-curricular sports and activities. He was always happy, positive and smiling. His energy was truly radiant and touched every person who met him.

He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Pam, his daughters Kristi (Justin) and Nicole (Chris); grandchildren Avery, Mariah, and one due February 2025; sister Donna and brother Terry.

Viewing, visitation, and funeral service information is listed below. Stu will be laid to rest at Washtenong Memorial Park located at 3771 Whitmore Lake Road, Ann Arbor, on Saturday at 3 pm following the funeral service.
