Steven Michael Kark
May 2, 1963 – June 25, 2025

Steven Michael Kark, age 62, made his peaceful transition on June 25, 2025, at his home in Ypsilanti, Michigan. Born on May 2, 1963, in Ypsilanti, Steven was the beloved son of Raymond Kark and Yvonne Sinelli.

Steven worked as an industrial cleaner for General Motors Company, where he was known for his strong work ethic and dedication. Outside of work, he lived a life full of simple joys—he loved cooking, eating good food, drinking Mountain Dew, riding his bike, fishing, and spending time on the computer playing games. Most of all, Steven cherished time with his family, who were the center of his world.

He is survived by his children, Michael Kark and April Kark Dobbins; his beloved granddaughter, Bella LaBrew; his former wife and the mother of his children, Maria Iannelli; his siblings, Tammy Jones, Randy Jones and Penny Kark; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Steven was preceded in death by his parents, his grandmother Julia "Nanny" Joseph, and his nephew Michael Rainey.

A visitation to honor Steven's life will be held from 5-8 pm on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at Stark Funeral Professionals.

Steven will be remembered for his kind heart, sense of humor, and the love he gave to those around him. He will be deeply missed.
