Sheryl Seabert Stachlewitz of Ypsilanti, MI passed away at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital on July 31, 2022 at the age of 64 with her husband by her side. Sheryl was born in Dearborn, MI to Charles and Eugenia (Schoffstall) Seabert and grew up in Milford, MI, where she graduated from Milford High School.

Sheryl was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Eugenia Seabert, and her grandson Braxton Lewis.

She is survived by her brother David Seabert, her husband David Stachlewitz, Sr. and their children; Terrilynn (Karl) Vehrenkamp, Rebecca (Ryan) Graham, Matthew Stachlewitz, David (Jessica) Stachlewitz, Jr., Sarah (Kevin) Lewis, Rachel (Luke) Palnau and Hannah Stachlewitz. She was a devoted grandmother to Nathan Graham, Cameron Graham, Taylor Vehrenkamp, Hunter Vehrenkamp, Zackary Stachlewitz, Hudson Stachlewitz, Olivia Lewis, Luca Lewis, Braxton Lewis, Braedyn Lewis, Rosealyn Palnau, Layla Palnau, Nora Palnau and Luke Palnau, Jr., who will miss her dearly.

Growing up, Sheri, as most knew her, loved to ride her horse, Blaze. She also had a passion for motorcycles, but gave those up when she met David Sr. Sheryl and David were married on July 30, 1977, and just celebrated their 45th anniversary. She was a selfless mother of 7 who stayed home to take care of the children for most of her life. She worked a few odd jobs here and there, but being a mother was her full-time job. She loved to sew, crochet and needlepoint, as well as kick some butt playing Call of Duty with the friends she made online.

Sheryl will be cremated with the help of Stark Funeral Professionals in Ypsilanti, MI. There will be a celebration of life for Sheryl on September 10, 2022 from 1pm - 6pm at her daughter's house.
