Browning, Sherry Catherine

Ypsilanti, MI

Age 58, passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at Trinity Health Livonia Hospital. She was born October 13, 1964 in Ann Arbor, MI, the daughter of Victor and Catherine (Procter) Hopkins.

Sherry worked as a paraprofessional at the Early Childhood Center, Van Buren Public Schools. She enjoyed reading books about history and researching her family genealogy. Sherry was a published author that had a cover story in the magazine Redbook. She loved going antiquing. Sherry married Richard Browning October 12, 1985 and he survives.

In addition to her loving husband of 37 years, Sherry is survived by her sons Phillip Browning, Michael Browning and Victor Browning; father Victor Hopkins and sister Laura Hopkins.

She was preceded in death by her mother Cathy Hopkins.

A funeral service will be held 11 am Saturday, June 3, 2023 at Stark Funeral Professionals with visitation beginning at 10 am. Pastor John White will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 4-8 pm Friday, June 2, 2023. Sherry will be laid to rest in Highland Cemetery, Ypsilanti.
