Sharon Kay Whitehouse (nee Brooks), age 61, went home to the Lord on Friday, June 9, 2023 at her home in Ypsilanti, Michigan. Born July 17, 1961, Sharon entered this world as the daughter of Calvin Nicholas Brooks and Anna Lee (Curry) Coonrod, both of whom preceded her in death. Sharon's life journey included a marriage to Tyler Whitehouse, who also preceded her in death. She is lovingly survived by her brothers Ricky (Joann) Brooks and Timothy (Linda) Brooks, her stepmother Edith Brooks, and step-sisters Julie, Jeri, and Jill. Additionally, Sharon leaves behind cherished nieces Jennifer, Jessica, and Ashleigh; nephews David, Benjamin, and Steven; as well as numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, and dear friends. Sharon's vibrant and free-spirited nature will be greatly missed.

A memorial gathering will be held 1-4 pm Saturday, July 1, 2023 at Milan Free Methodist Church (950 E. Arkona Road, Milan, MI 48160).
