Dunigan, Sharon DaLee

Ypsilanti, MI

Age 76, went home to be with the Lord Monday, August 26, 2024 at Trinity Health Ann Arbor Hospital. She was born May 6, 1948 in Zanesville, OH, the daughter of Charles and Thelma (Haffa) Dillon. Sharon spent her first 11 years in Zanesville, until her family moved to Ypsilanti, MI, in 1959, where she resided until her passing.

Sharon enjoyed coloring, making crafts, and playing boardgames with her grandchildren. She was an avid collector of Elvis items. Above all, she loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandkids and great-grandson.

Sharon is survived by her daughter Chantel (Dunigan) Justice, granddaughters Tatum Justice (Zack Ellison), Nina Justice, Alexis Justice and Isabella Justice; and great-grandson Sawyer Ellison.

She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Thelma Dillon; siblings Donald Dillon and Donna Baird; and former husband and high school sweetheart, Donald Dunigan.

A funeral service will be held 1 pm Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at Stark Funeral Professionals (101 S. Washington Street, Ypsilanti). Pastor Jim Humble will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 11 am until time of service. Burial to follow at Highland Cemetery, Ypsilanti.
