Sharon Kay Arnold, 82, of Ypsilanti, Michigan, passed away peacefully at home on March 29, 2025. She was born on August 1, 1942, in Battle Creek, Michigan, to Lester and Ocine (Brooks) Gray.

Sharon dedicated her career to MP&L at Ford Motor Company, where she worked for 28.5 years before retiring. Throughout her life she lived in Battle Creek, Ypsilanti, Saline, and Ann Arbor.

She found joy in golfing, spending time with her beloved grandchildren and dogs, and trying her luck at the casino. A frequent visitor to Motor City Casino in Detroit, she enjoyed playing the slots and eating at the Buffet-always making sure she snuck out a few pieces of meat for her dogs.

Sharon is survived by her daughter, Dana Pennington; her son, Shawn Arnold; and her grandchildren, Amanda Tedrow, Shane Arnold, and Paige Arnold. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Slusser.
