Sharon Elizabeth Amburgy
May 9, 1947 – August 17, 2025

Sharon Elizabeth Amburgy, 78, of Ypsilanti, Michigan, passed away on August 17, 2025, at Trinity Health – Ann Arbor Hospital. She was born May 9, 1947, in Ypsilanti to John Earl and Anita Louise (Bates) Bowen. Sharon worked in auto parts delivery for 23 years and lived her entire life in the Ypsilanti area.

Sharon enjoyed bowling, watching Detroit Tigers baseball, caring for her lawn, and spending time at amusement parks with her family. She valued time with her loved ones and kept close ties with family throughout her life.

She is survived by her son, Allen Roberts; grandchildren Mike Roberts (Antoinette Salisbury), Chris Roberts (Heather), and Andrew Roberts; great-grandchildren Mikayla Roberts and Autumn Roberts; sisters Joyce (Norman) Kubitskey and Anita Stinedurf; brothers Gary Bowen and Robert Bowen; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter-in-law Mary Roberts; nephew Paul Albert Stinedurf; and brother-in-law Paul Lee Stinedurf.

A memorial visitation will be held 4-8 pm on Friday, August 29, 2025, at Stark Funeral Professionals. A memorial service will follow at 12 pm on Saturday, August 30, 2025 at the funeral home.
