Age 71, passed away Friday, January 7, 2022 after a courageous 11-year battle with lung cancer. She was born December 11, 1950 in Laurium, MI, the daughter of Ellroy and Violet (Alm) Ostlie.

Serina graduated from Garden City West class of 1969. She attended Eastern Michigan University and graduated with A Bachelor's in Science in 1979. She worked for St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor for over 25 years before medically retiring.enjoyed reading books and loved to gamble. She cherished time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Serina is survived by her children Carolyn (Richie) Jones and Sara (Russell Jr.) Naczas; grandchildren Brittney, Elizabeth, Henry, Shawna, Richard, Robbie, Christina, Patrick and Little Russell; great-grandchildren Lillie, Dayshaun, Odin, Dontea, Wyatt, Jace, Darrah, Vivienne, Elisha, Octavia and Little Hank; sister Sharyl (Gary) Westmoreland, special friend Ali Saad, dear childhood friends Diane Schommer and Nancy Arthur; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Christy Marie Wilson, husband Patrick Long, and siblings Clarice Ostlie, Richard Fleck and James Fleck.
