Age 56, made her transition April 25, 2025 at her home in Ecorse, MI. She was born February 2, 1969 in Detroit, MI, the daughter of Raymond and Caradawn (Henck) Richardson.

Saroya was a longtime member of Neighborhood Services Organization (NSO) and Services to Enhance Potential (STEP). She enjoyed spending time with her family, attending birthday parties and watching her favorite television Show "Dallas."

Saroya is survived by her brothers Stafoni and Sharoc Richardson; sister Schaum Richardson, nephews Shannon, Brandon (Tania Hall), Sterling, Sahr Jr., Keyon, Timon, Shawn, Laitthin, and Coreon; and nieces Samantha, Tiyera, Celeste, Maia, Lora, Gabrielle, Careya, Azari, and Mia.

She was preceded in death by her parents Raymond and Caradawn Richardson; and brothers Sahr (Gwyn Nemiac), Sarzon and Schandy Richardson.

A funeral service will be held 12 pm Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at Stark Funeral Professionals. Saroya will be laid to rest in Sunset Hills Cemetery, Superior Township.
