Sarah Jeanette Goble, age 81, passed away peacefully on April 2, 2026, at her home in Ypsilanti, Michigan. She was born on November 13, 1944, in Corpus Christi, Texas, to John and Donna (Young) Walters. Sarah married the love of her life, Avery W. Goble, on July 22, 1974. They shared many happy years together until his passing on June 30, 2018.

Sarah found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved playing bingo, crocheting, and listening to her husband's band. Above all, she cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought her endless happiness.

She is survived by her children, Timothy (Brenda) Gilbert, Lorrie Gilbert, and Kimberly Cole; her grandchildren, Jessica, Wayne (Sheila), Brandon (Bridgette), Jason (Jessica), Devin, and Trenton (Kesley); and 11 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, James D. "Butch" (Karen) Walters, along with many nieces and nephews.

Sarah was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Avery; her parents; her sister, Joyce; her brother-in-law, Bob; her son-in-law, Keith; and her niece, Donna.

A funeral service will be held at 1pm Thursday, April 9, 2026, at Stark Funeral Professionals with Pastor Gordon Moore officiating. Visitation will take place from 11 am until the time of service. Burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery in Petersburg, Michigan.

Sarah will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
