Age 74, passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at his home. He was born October 1, 1950, in Ivel, KY, the son of Brown and Mary Dillion. He lived in Ivel until age 11 when his family relocated to Ypsilanti.

Ronnie was a hardworking man that was employed by Ford Motor Company for 44 years and later worked for Inergy. After retirement, he cared for his cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In his free time, he enjoyed camping with his family, gardening, and mowing the lawn. He loved visiting the dragway with Jeff and Chase, boating, and reading. He was an avid University of Michigan football and basketball fan.

Ronnie volunteered with the Ypsi Jr. Braves for many years and was a passionate bike rider. He rode his bicycle with the Make-A-Wish Foundation for 24 years. While a member of Community Service for UAW Local 849, he spent many hours feeding the hungry and collecting cans to return for funds to put back into the program. He spent his final days surrounded by his family at home, exactly where he wanted to be.

Ronnie is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years Andrea Dillion, children Mike Dillion, Kristina (Curtis) Evans, Heather Kisselburg, Jeffrey Dillion and Christian Dillion; grandchildren Liz, Cheyenne, Savannah "Boo Boo" and Chase "Buzz"; great-grandchildren Caleb, Sydney, Lyncoln and Hudson; siblings Joe, Joyce, John, Deloris, Betty, Frank and Tony; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by Don Dillion, Kelly Dillion, parents Brown and Mary Dillion; and parents-in-law Robert and Jacqueline L'Amoreaux.

Visitation will be 2-8 pm Monday, February 10, 2025 at Stark Funeral Professionals (101 S. Washington Street, Ypsilanti). The family will receive friends at the funeral home 10 am until time of service 11 am Tuesday, February 11, 2025. Pastor John White will officiate. Ronnie will be laid to rest in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Ypsilanti.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association , Lewy Body Dementia Association , Make-A-Wish Foundation or Parkinson's Foundation .
