Age 68, passed away Friday, November 11, 2022 at Trinity Health – St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Superior Township, Michigan. She was born June 7, 1954 in Ann Arbor, Michigan, the daughter of Darwin and Thelma (Howell) Cox.

Robin enjoyed being outdoors camping, fishing, looking down dirt roads for deer and watching birds visit the bird feeder. She adored her Yorkie fur babies Jack, Jill, Roscoe, Max, Teeny Tiny and Ginger. She married David Lawson August 31, 1974 and he survives.

In addition to her husband, Robin is survived by her children Jason (Lisa) Lawson and Jennifer (Thomas) Behler; grandson Nathan Lawson, siblings David (Linda) Cox, Sherry Gray and Stacey (Terry) Reiser; father-in-law and mother-in-law Robert and Susan Henry; brothers-in law and sisters-in-law Bill and Debra Bake and Bill and Susan Popp; aunt Roberta (Bobby) Dillon, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be held 4-7 pm Monday, November 14, 2022 at Stark Funeral Professionals (101 S. Washington Street, Ypsilanti). She will be laid to rest at Union-Udell Cemetery in Ypsilanti Township.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society .
