Age 70, passed away Sunday, March 24, 2024 in Farmington, MI. She was born July 20, 1953 in Milwaukee, WI, the daughter of Floyd and Harriet (Burmeister) Peterson.

Roberta was a homebody who loved reading James Patterson novels, adored dogs and treasured spending time with her grandchildren.

Roberta is survived by her children Jerry (Eva) Gorman and Robert (Phyllis) Gorman; and grandchildren Anthony "A.J." Gorman and Courtney Gorman.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Edward Herman and sister Carole Davis.

The family has chosen simple cremation. A memorial service will be held 1 pm Sunday, April 14, 2024 at Stark Funeral Professionals (101 S. Washington Street, Ypsilanti). The family will receive friends at the funeral home 11 am until time of service.
