Melfi, Robert Thomas

Ypsilanti, MI

Age 76, made his transition on Thursday, March 14, 2024 at his home. Robert was born in Syracuse, NY, the son of Robert and Marion (Ridgeway) Melfi who preceded him in death.

Robert is survived by his children Terri Ann, Thomas, Stephen (Michelle) and Michael (Cassandra); grandchildren Sierra (Noe'), DeAngelo, Misha, Dominic, Hunter, Taylor, and Russell; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Robert was an Army veteran who served in Vietnam and worked for the Ypsilanti School District and Ford Motor company.

Robert was a huge sports fan and avid reader and enjoyed fishing, camping and spending time with his family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hope Clinic .
