Robert "Shep" Fornwalt Sr. passed away in his home on February 7, 2024 at the age of 75.

He was born on August 2, 1948 in Anniston Alabama to his parents, Griffith and Opal.

Shep devoted 43 years to Ford Motor Company as an auto repairman before retiring in 2009.

Tinkering in the garage was Robert's favorite pastime. He also enjoyed motorcycles and hiking with his dogs, Max and Micky.

Robert and Anne Burton married in 1968, had one son, Robert Jr. (Shelly) then divorced in 1970.

He married Pamela Kay Kerr in 1972 they a son Corey (Wendy). Pamela passed away in 1981.

Robert and Anne remarried in 1991 and were just a few days short of their 33rd anniversary.

Dear brother of Eddie Dean, Rick Alton, the late Mary Helen (Jerry) Wiley and brother-in-law of Larry "Sonny" Burton.

He also leaves behind many loving nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
