Shotbolt, Richard James

Age 73, passed away Saturday, February 3, 2024. He was born June 28, 1950 in Amaranth, Manitoba, Canada, the son of Charles and Dorothy (Shier) Shotbolt.

Richard was a member of IBEW Local 2085. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Richard is survived by his wife of 35 years, Diane (O'Neill) Shotbolt, as well as his children Colin and Christopher; and siblings Keith (Lillian) Shotbolt and Faye (Robert) Nickhart.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Sharon (Ogilvie), Beatrice (William) Robb and Gerald (Grace) Shotbolt.

The family has chosen simple cremation. A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
