Richard "Rick" Howlett passed away peacefully in his home on June 17, 2024, at the age of 76.

He was born in Ypsilanti, MI on September 18, 1947, to his parents Harold Homer Howlett and Rosena Martha (Tackmann) Howlett which have preceded him in death.

Rick had a love for cars and over the years had collected many of them. He was a former member of the Huron Valley Corvette Club of Ypsilanti.

His passion for working on cars lead to him working as a teacher for the RCTC program in the Auto Building for Ypsilanti High School.

He left behind many friends and family members, including his caretakers and best friends, John Kingsley and Ann Purdy.
