Regina Renee (Smith) Brown

March 8,1966 - January 4, 2026

Regina R. Brown, age 59, passed away Sunday, January 4, 2026. She was born March 8, 1966 in Ypsilanti to Richard Smith and Brenda (Barnickel) Gruden.

She has gained her wings after a long fight and many silent prayers, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength and cherished memories. Though her passing came just days after her beloved son Bryan's passing, we find solace in knowing she's no longer suffering and will continue to inspire her family from above.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Thelma (Hubbard) Smith, Leo Smith, Arvel Barnickel, William (Bud) Pruett and Evelyn (Hankes) Pruett; her parents and her one and only son Bryan Ratliff.

Survivors include her sister Joanne (Mike) Trierweiler, brother Matthew Smith, daughters Lisa Ratliff, Veronica Ratliff and Amber Brown; grandsons Jason Garrett, Anthony O'Hearn, Gabe and Luke Collins; granddaughters Serenity Ratliff, Antonasia O'Hearn, Ashailyn Ratliff and Mackenzie Govantes; as well as many nieces and nephews.
