Biggs III, Ramer Lee "Ray" "Bubba"

Ypsilanti, MI

Age 75, passed away Monday, May 27, 2024 in Wayne, MI. He was born October 22, 1948 in Nashville TN, the son of Ramer Biggs Jr. and Mary Martin. He was raised by his mother and stepfather Joseph Tarnacki.

Ramer was an avid sports fan who enjoyed watching the University of Michigan Wolverines, Detroit Lions, Michigan Panthers and Detroit Tigers. He loved trips to the casino and adored his fur husky companions Sasha, Milo and Apollo. Ramer worked as an electrician at the GM Powertrain in Willow Run for many years. He proudly served in the Army and was a Vietnam Veteran.

Ramer is survived by his children Ramer IV, Jennifer (James), Laura (Bill), Jerry and Robert; 12 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, sister Carleen (the late Art) Baumgardner, special family friend David Steeves, in addition to many nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife Martha, son Jamie and brother Bill Seiber.

The family has chosen simple cremation. Ramer's final act of kindness was to give the gift of life through organ and tissue donation.
