Ralph Michael Oliver, age 73, of Ypsilanti, MI, passed away at home on January 9, 2026. He was born on March 5, 1952, in Tecumseh, MI, to Ernest and Imo (Weasel) Oliver. He was a longtime Ypsilanti resident and worked as a machine repairman at Ford Motor Company for 36 years before retiring in 2007.

Ralph was married to Jennifer (Wehking) Oliver on July 15, 1973, in Ypsilanti. Though later divorced, they remained committed parents to their two sons. He was also blessed with grandchildren and nieces who brought joy to his life.

Ralph was a proud member of the American Legion and the Moose Lodge. He especially enjoyed fishing and was an avid fisherman throughout his life.

He is survived by his life partner of 25 years, Debi Lowry; his sons, Ben Oliver and Todd Oliver; his grandchildren, Taylor Oliver and Nolan Oliver; and his nieces, Amber Oliver and Corinn Mendez.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Oliver and Imo Oliver; his brothers, Ernest "Wayne" Oliver and Tracy Oliver.

In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a Celebration of Life at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to The Alzheimer's Association .
