Age 64, passed away Monday, October 30, 2023 in Ypsilanti Township, MI. He was born October 29, 1959 in Monroe, MI, the son of Woodford and Yvonne (Champagne) Prater.

Raleigh worked as a mechanic his entire life. He enjoyed all things cars – drag racing, working on them, being a mechanic and owning his own shop. He loved his Papillion dogs and spending time with his grandkids.

Raleigh is survived by his daughter Kelly Prater, grandchildren Riley Francis and Elliott Cameron; and siblings Norman (Maggie) Prater and Anna (Michael) Smith.

He was preceded in death by his parents Woodford and Yvonne Prater.

Cremation will take place. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
