Perrelia Bouldin, known to her loved ones as Rhea, peacefully passed away on January 28, 2024, in Ann Arbor, Michigan, at the age of 79. She was born on January 12, 1945, in Madison County, Mississippi, to her parents Paul and Omelia "Solomon" Bennett. Rhea dedicated 32 years of her life as a Clerk with the United States Postal Service, serving her community diligently.

Rhea was the seventh of eight siblings and was known for her warm and loving personality. She cherished her family and leaves behind a legacy of love. Rhea is survived by her last remaining sibling her sister Pauline Griffin, her daughters, Yolanda Holmes and Vanita Bouldin, her sons, Derrick (Mary) Bouldin and Willie Bouldin Jr. She was also a beloved grandmother to Vanessa (Anthony) Brown, Lynne (Reginald) Dixon, Alexis Bouldin, Tracy Parham, Derrick (Katrin) Bouldin Jr, Elijah Bouldin, David Bouldin and Corey Bouldin.

In addition to her children, sibling and grand-children, Rhea will be deeply missed by her sister (niece) Johnnie Mae (Christover) Jones and brother in-law Charlie Battle, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives, friends and adopted families, sons, daughters, and grandchildren who were touched by her kind and caring nature.

Rhea found solace and strength in her faith. She was a member of the Second Baptist Church in Ann Arbor, Michigan where she worshipped for 54 years after joining in May 1970. Her church community provided her with support and encouragement throughout her life.

Rhea's warm heart, kind spirit, and loving nature touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family and her dedication to those she held dear. Rhea's legacy will live on through the memories and the love she shared with her family and friends.

Rhea will be remembered for her dedication to her career, her love for her family, and her unwavering faith. She will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May her soul rest in eternal peace.

Rhea's parents, along with three brothers and three sisters, preceded her in death. Their memory will forever be cherished by those who loved them.

A funeral service will be held 11 am Saturday, February 10, 2024 at Second Baptist Church of Ann Arbor (850 Red Oak Road, Ann Arbor). Family hour will begin at 10 am. The family will receive friends 4-8 pm Friday, February 9, 2024 at Stark Funeral Professionals (101 S. Washington Street, Ypsilanti). Rhea will be laid to rest in United Memorial Gardens, Superior Township.
