Manners, Peggy Ann

Age 83, passed away suddenly Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital. She was born April 7, 1939 in Detroit, MI, the daughter of Edwin and Jean (Bovair) Doyle.

Peggy was a Belleville resident for 57 years. She was employed as a kitchen manager with Van Buren Public Schools for 30 years. Peggy married Francis X. Manners November 6, 1965 and he preceded her in death.

Peggy enjoyed going to the casino and watching NASCAR. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Peggy is survived by her son Mark Manners, daughter Dorene (Shawn) Shock, granddaughter Shawna (Ace) Malboeuf, grandson Kyle Shock, sister Dolly (Mansour) Farokhi, brother Jack (Heidi) Doyle, as well as many nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother Patrick Doyle, brother-in-law John Manners and sister-in-law Marion Manners.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, September 10, 2022 with details forthcoming.
