Pauline Copeland

Pauline Copeland, 75, of Ann Arbor, Michigan, passed away on September 29, 2025.

Born in Ypsilanti, Michigan, on October 28, 1949, Pauline grew up surrounded by family and faith. She accepted Christ as a Seventh-day Adventist and carried her beliefs throughout her life.

Pauline was a private person who found joy in meaningful one-on-one connections. She didn't care for large gatherings, but she loved catching up with family and friends over the phone, where her warmth and laughter always shone through. She shared a special bond with her mother, whom she lovingly cared for until her passing in 2019. Pauline also treasured her relationships with her nieces and nephews, who brought her great joy.

She will be remembered for her kindness and the love she quietly and consistently poured into her family.

Pauline was preceded in death by her mother, Virgie Mae Copeland (2019), and her father, Elijah Copeland (2009).

She is survived by her siblings Charles Copeland with whom she shared a close relationship, as well as Marvin (Kathy) Copeland, James Copeland, Valerie Copeland, Terri Copeland, and Steve (Doreen) Copeland; her cousin Karla Murphy; her aunt and best friend, Ferrel Barner; and many nieces and nephews who will forever cherish her memory.

In accordance with Pauline's wishes, there will be no formal funeral service. Friends and family who would like to share condolences or memories may do so through Stark Funeral Professionals.

Pauline will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love, faith, and connection will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
