Geidner, Patricia "Tish" Ann

Saline, MI

Age 80, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, May 11, 2023 at her home in Saline, MI. She was born October 1, 1942 in Toledo, OH, the daughter of Herman and Lucy (Roemer) Krieger.

Tish loved to cook and bake, constantly making things for others and sending care packages to soldiers deployed overseas. Most recently she perfected making dog treats for her fur-grandbabies. She enjoyed sewing; her placemats and cozies are now priceless. Tish loved traveling the U.S. and abroad. She was a proud fanatic of the Detroit Tigers and The Ohio State Buckeyes and devoted volunteer to many fundraising activities especially the Tom Wall Foundation, Special Olympics and the Ypsilanti Jaycees. Tish worked as a Para-Educator for Willow Run Schools for 27 years, retiring in 2004. She spent 20 years working at Pizza Hut in conjunction with her time at Willow Run.

Tish is survived by her children Douglas (Ann) Geidner of Ann Arbor, MI, Lucy Geidner of West Point, KY (partner Deanna Robbins of Columbus, OH), daughter Kathy (Robert) Currie of Saline, MI and daughter Heidi (Deb Eisele) Geidner of Cincinnati, OH; "adopted" daughters Sheila Sobelewski and Sukanya Jett; siblings Judy (Jack) Houser and David (Maurita) Krieger; and grandchildren Heather (Kyle) Burgus, Michael Currie (fiancé Lynn Helmer), Jake Geidner and Bethany Geidner.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A funeral service will be held 6 pm Monday, May 15, 2023 at Stark Funeral Professionals (101 S. Washington Street, Ypsilanti). The family will receive friends at the funeral home 1 pm until time of service.
