Natalie Riggs (née Freeman), age 67, went home to be with the Lord on October 16, 2025, in Detroit, MI. She was born on June 8, 1958, also in Detroit.

Natalie was a talented seamstress and found joy in knitting and creating clothing. She was also a wonderful cook who loved hosting Thanksgiving, best known for her famous soul food and cornbread stuffing.

Natalie played many roles throughout her life, most importantly, being a granny. There was nothing that made her happier than spoiling her grandbabies.

Left behind to cherish her memory are many loving family members and friends.

An 11 am funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025 at Stark Funeral Professionals. Family hour will begin at 10 am.
