Napoleon Williams Jr. 82, of Ypsilanti, Michigan passed away on July 7, 2024. Napoleon was born July 29, 1941 in Blaine, Mississippi to Napoleon and Frankie B. (Miles) Williams. He was the third of nine siblings. At an early age Napoleon Jr. confessed his faith in Christ at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Blaine, MS. Driving semi trucks was his profession and his passion. Jr. was a "jack of all trades" he would try to fix it or break it before calling someone to fix it. You could always find him outside gardening, manicuring his lawn, caring for his birds and rabbits, and most of all listening to the blues.

Napoleon was preceded in death by his parents Napoleon Sr. and Frankie B. Williams, his wife Margaret Williams, sister Martha Henry, brothers McArthur Williams, Arthur Lee Williams, Glover Williams, Ethan Williams and granddaughter Cara Edwards.

Napoleon is survived by his two sons, Larry Williams of Shaw, MS; Napoleon Williams III of Oakland, CA; and one daughter, Sylvia Williams of Indianola, MS; three sisters Bertha Clemons of Ann Arbor, MI; Bettye (Johnny) Epps of Ypsilanti, MI; and Fannie Williams of Indianola, MS; eight grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren, God Son Isaac Brown, his special friend Norma Boyce, and a host of nieces and nephews. Lastly, the two people who he considered to be his rock: his niece Magochell (Angela) and his nephew Melvin Henry who he could always lean and depend on.
