Rose, Nancy Ellen

Ypsilanti, MI

Age 81, passed away Friday, March 25, 2022 at her home. She was born January 27, 1941 in Clearfield, KY, the daughter of Emmett and Nanny (Moore) Hall.

Nancy graduated from Rowan County High school in 1959. She married Tom Rose in 1965 in Kentucky and they moved to Michigan that same year. She was a lifetime Weight Watchers member, enjoyed gardening and was active in fundraising for Belleville Band Boosters, helping the local school bands take trips throughout the country. Nancy was kind and sweet, and loved all of her relatives dearly. She remembered all of the important life milestones and sent greeting cards for all occasions.

Nancy is survived by her husband Tom Rose, children Thomasina (Ray) Rose, Mydessa Rose and Douglas (Candice) Rose; brothers George William Hall and Douglas "Mac" Hall; as well as many loving nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Elmer Hall and sister Beatrice Prince.

A funeral service will be held 11 am Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at Stark Funeral Professionals (101 S. Washington Street, Ypsilanti) where the family will receive friends from 10 am until time of service. Visitation will be held 4-8 pm Monday, March 28, 2022 at the funeral home.
