Kramer, Michael James

Ypsilanti, MI

Age 76, passed away Thursday, June 20, 2024 at his home. He was born September 20, 1947 in Ann Arbor, MI, the son of Robert and Dorothy (McAulliffe) Kramer. He married Ruthann Camilleri August 22, 1969 and together they shared nearly 42 years of loving marriage until her passing June 29, 2011.

Michael loved camping throughout Michigan. He had a warm smile and truly cared for and loved everyone whom he ran into.

Michael is survived by his children Bryant Kramer, Andrew (Bryanne) Kramer and Leland (Sharon) Kramer; grandchildren Jesse, Mikayla, Brayden, Mason, Julia, Tori and Chloe; siblings Patricia Patrick, Robert Kramer, Robert Lasky and Karen Pool; as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife Ruthann Kramer, Michael was preceded in death by his parents, daughter-in-law Kristen Kramer and brothers Charles Kramer, Joseph Kramer and Richard Lasky.

A funeral service will be held 11 am Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at Stark Funeral Professionals with viewing beginning at 10 am. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 12-3 pm and 5-8 pm Tuesday, June 25, 2024. Michael will be laid to rest in Union-Udell Cemetery, Ypsilanti Township.
