Michael Chiverton, also known as Jay or JR, passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at the age of 43.

Michael "Jay" "JR" Chiverton was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan on August 19, 1980.

He grew up in Ypsilanti and attended Kettering Elementary Grade School and Belleville Middle School and graduated High School. He loved basketball and played for a short time in high school as a point guard.

He leaves behind six children; five boys, Michael Anthony Pepper (Baylee), MenKaure Ananias Chiverton, Mareon Alante Chiverton, Dominick Bentlee Chiverton, Avauntis Shamar Calhoun and daughter Kassidy Lauren Chiverton.

He is the beloved son of Michael and Rebecca Steward.

Loving brother of four Sisters; Michelle Chatmon, Paris Chatmon-Moore, Daisy Gant Wells, Nicole (Don) Hickman and one brother, Joseph Granel Chiverton-Steward.

He also leaves behind his grandfather, Don Winston Chiverton, Aunt Jennifer Schroeder and uncle Gregory Steward, his five nephews, one niece, many cousins, relatives and friends.

Michael was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Guy and Betty Steward, uncle Vincent Steward, aunt Jeanette Smith, aunt Robin Vervaet and maternal grandmother Norma Chiverton.

Micheal loved life. But above all else, he loved his children.
