Michael Dion Jackson, affectionately known as Mikey, departed this earthly life on Wednesday, December 15, 2021. He was born to the late Sheila Ann Jackson on November 24, 1983 in Ann Arbor, MI.

Michael was raised in Ypsilanti, MI. He attended Willow Run Community Schools. Michael's passion for cooking eventually became his profession. He spent years as a sous chef.

As a teenager, Michael met Stephanie Rahn who would later become his wife. Their union was blessed with two children: his baby girl Aryanah and his righthand man Keaton.

Michael and his only sibling Tony were not only brothers but friends, counselors, and role models to one another.

Michael leaves his wife Stephanie Jackson, daughter Aryanah Jackson, son Keaton Jackson, brother Antonio (Mercy) Jackson, nieces Lilly and Daisy; aunts Alberta Williams, Catherine (Henry) Cook, Clara Clay, Gloria Newby and Corliss Jackson-Anderson; uncle Alfred Jackson Jr., and a host of cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother Sheila Jackson, grandparents Alfred and Willie G. Jackson; aunts Joycelyn Jackson, Jaqueline Jackson and Eileen Emory; uncles Marvin Jackson, Stanley Jackson and Charles Jackson; and cousins Shannon Emory and Stanley Jackson Jr.

A funeral service will be held 12 noon Monday, December 27, 2021 at Stark Funeral Professionals with Pastor Jeffrey Tiggs presiding. The family will receive friends at 11 am to the start of service. Michael will be laid to rest at United Memorial Gardens in Superior Township, Michigan.
