Berman, Michael Howard

Age 80, passed away Saturday, February 15, 2025 at his home. He was born June 3, 1944, in Detroit, MI, the son of William and Bernice (Fliesher) Berman. He married Molly M. Berman September 17, 1994 in Plymouth, MI, and she survives.

Michael loved his family, trains and collecting stamps. He worked as a sales clerk at JCPenney for many years.

In addition to his loving wife of 30 years, Michael is survived by his children Alyssa Berman and Mallory Berman; step-children Daniel E. Myers Jr., Diana Harding, Denise Betting and Dana (Linda) Myers; brother Edward (Sandy) Berman, grandchildren Eric (Joan) Briggs, Daniel E. (Sarah) Myers III, Lauren (Nicholas) Morency, Jennifer Harding, Jessica Myers, Emily (Ryan) Fox, Matthew (Lauren) Myers and Andrew (Hallie) Myers; and great-grandchildren Lynn Myers, Briley Briggs, Audrey Morency, Pyper Myers and Grayson Fox.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Robert Berman and step-daughter Darlene Myers.

A funeral service will be held 1 pm Monday, February 24, 2025 at Stark Funeral Professionals with visitation beginning at 11 am (101 S. Washington Street, Ypsilanti). Pastor Doyle Parks will officiate. Michael will be laid to rest in Highland Cemetery, Ypsilanti.
