Mary Louise Broniak, age 99, of Ypsilanti, Michigan, passed away peacefully at home on September 28, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born on March 25, 1926, in Boston, Massachusetts, Mary was the cherished daughter of Alessando and Olympia (Tazarczyk) Pachucki. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, Mary lived a life marked by boisterous strength, warm compassion, and an unwavering love for her family and faith.

Mary was formerly a resident of Flint, Michigan, before settling in Ypsilanti, where she remained an active member of the community. She was a faithful parishioner of St. Ursula Catholic Church and a proud member of the Madonna Guild. She also served with dedication in the Women's Auxiliary at Beyer Hospital, always willing to lend a hand or offer comfort where it was needed.

She married the love of her life, Theodore Broniak, on March 4, 1945. They shared a deep and loving partnership until his passing in 1984.

Mary had a creative spirit and a kind heart. She found joy in quilting and crocheting, spending time in her garden, solving word searches, and cherishing her 4 pm happy hour. She never missed a chance to support her children and grandchildren in their sporting events and interests, always cheering them on with pride and love. She was also a proud member of the Red Hat Clark Road Group and enjoyed many worldly travels with the Pittsfield Township Senior Group.

Mary is survived by her children: Dennis Broniak, Diane (Dan) Roy, and Karen Broniak-Inman; her beloved grandchildren: John Burnett, Jennifer (Duffy) Williams, and Brent Inman; her great-grandchildren: Austin Bennett, Kellsey Wellington, T.J. Burnett, and Kaitlyn Stephens; and her great-great-grandchildren: Kellsey (Terry), Mariah, A.J., Albanie, Trey, Evan, Christian, Sophia, Kaylani, Colton and Rory. She is also lovingly remembered by her godchildren Mary Watson and Denise Harrison, along with many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore; father Alessando Pachucki, mother Olympia and step-father Walter Kuncewicz; sister, Helen Romanowski; brother, Stanley Pachucki; and nephew Edward Romanowski.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, October 2, 2025, from 2 to 8 pm at Stark Funeral Professionals, with the Rosary being recited at 7 pm.  A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Friday, October 3, 2025 at the funeral home, with visitation beginning at 10 am. Father Tim Krukowski will officiate. Mary will be laid to rest at St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery.

Mary's life was a testament to love, faith, and family. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness and warmth that will live on in all who knew and loved her.
