Marjorie Mae Del-Radio was born on January 10, 1933, the daughter of William Grant Robbins Sr. and Geraldine (Campbell) Robbins of Ypsilanti, Michigan. She ascended to her heavenly home on Wednesday, April 12, 2023. She was known to the family as "Big Marjorie."

She accepted Christ at a young age. In the year 2000, she rededicated her life to the Lord at the Cathedral of Deliverance of The Apostolic Faith under the leadership of Bishop Watson. She attended Ypsilanti Public School. She had a passion for her family, cooking, sitting on the porch waving at the neighbors, and traveling.

If she was not watching someone else's children, she was making cakes and pies for them. She would always smile or giggle when she would see her children or grandchildren come in the front door. She taught all her children to love, to cook, and the value of knowing your family. Marjorie never met a stranger; she was always friendly until you messed with one of her kids.

She had her own food ministry, that to say she would go to every food pantry, pick up food; bring it home, and redistribute it to the seniors in the neighborhood. If you needed food, you could shop in her basement and grocery shop. You never left her house hungry.

Marjorie gave birth to eight children and had a hand in helping raise her grandchildren. She also adopted a few children along the way. She would also take care of the elders in her family. When her health began to decline, she was cared for by her loving daughter, Tijuana Del-Radio (aka her Ma).

She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Del-Radio Sr., her grandsons Deshawn Wright and Maurice Murphy; and her granddaughters Nevaeh House and Alliyah Lindsey.

Left to cherish her memories are her devoted daughters Keta Armstead, Anita (Paul) Rosser, and Tijuana Del-Radio; her beloved sons Deon Wright, Robert (Barbara) Wright Sr., James Wright Sr., Harold Wright Sr., and Thomas Del-Radio Jr.; 23 grandchildren; 56 great-grandchildren and 32 great-great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held 12 pm Friday, April 21, 2023 at St. John Missionary Baptist Church (866 Monroe Street, Ypsilanti). Family hour will start at 11 am. The family will receive friends 3-8 pm Thursday, April 20, 2023 at Stark Funeral Professionals (101 S. Washington Street, Ypsilanti).
