A loving husband, father, grandfather of ten and great-grandfather of fourteen, peacefully and silently drifted into the arms of Jesus Saturday morning, April 13, 2024. He knew he was going home to be with the Lord.

On February 23, 1954, Marion married Bonnie Hodges, they celebrated 67 years of marriage in 2021.

Marion loved spending time outdoors. He was a dedicated Range Master at Tri-County Sportsman Club, where his passion of shooting guns and bow and arrows shone brightly. Fishing was another love that brought him joy.

Beyond his hobbies he valued family above all else. His 67-year marriage to his beloved wife, Bonnie was a testament to his commitment and love. He leaves behind a family who will miss his presence dearly.

Marion is survived by his children, Cindy (Steve) Raymond, Susan (Dan) Raymond, Karen Thompson and Marion J. Billitier Jr.; sister, Jerrine Ford; ten grandchildren, Jeremy (Sonya) Raymond, Brandon (Sarah) Raymond, Halley (Randy) Gallinger, Deanna (Craig) Allen, Shanna (Matt) Jessee, Graham Hufford Jr., Ashley (Josh) DuVall, Marion J. Billitier III, Emily (Austin) Northrop and Carly Billitier; and fourteen great-grandchildren, Morgan and Madison Raymond, Kaydence and Ellyse Raymond, Evalee Gallinger, Alyssa and Tyler Allen, Lily and Lucy Jessee, Wyatt and Henry DuVall and June, Nash and Wade Northrop.

The funeral service will be 11 am Thursday, April 18, 2024, at Calvary Baptist Church, 1007 Ecorse Road, Ypsilanti where the family will receive friends at the church from 10 am until time of service. Pastor Jim Newcomer will officiate. Burial will follow in Arborcrest Memorial Park, Ann Arbor.
