Age 92, passed away Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at her home. She was born January 19, 1929 in Cuba, AL, the daughter of Sim and Clemmie (Ball) Brooks.

Lillie enjoyed baking and dancing. She loved spending time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren.

Lillie is survived by her children Clemmie (Joe) Johnson, Bennie Larkin, Marcellous Larkin Jr., Loutrecia Thomas-Larkin, Evelyn Larkin, Dan Larkin, Eugene Larkin, Tracey Larkin, Creola Larkin, Versha Larkin, James Larkin and Dorothy Jean Johnson; siblings Henry Ball, Mary Louise Randle, Reverend Thomas Ball, James (Carol) Roger, Reverend Walter Ball, Reverend Melvin (Tonya) Ball, Wayne (Dorothy) Ball, Anita Ball and Rhonda Ball; 30 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Marcellous Larkin, children Tommy Larkin and Leonard Larkin; and siblings Mary Vason, Bennie Douglas, Charlie Ball, Annie Redmond and Private James Clyde Ball.

The family will receive friends 4-7 pm Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at Second Baptist Church: 301 S Hamilton Street, Ypsilanti, MI 48197.
