Age 72, passed away Sunday, April 20, 2025 at Angela Hospice in Livonia, MI. She was born September 1, 1952 in Sikeston, MO, the daughter of Raymond and Maggie (Jones) Rougeau.

Lennette loved to sing. She was a true girly girl and fashionista who was always dressed to the nines. She taught at State College of Beauty in her younger years and retired from AT&T after a successful 30-year career. Lennette loved her family dearly and treasured time spent with her family and grandkids.

Lennette is survived by her daughter Cindy (Kenyatta) Nathan of Van Buren Township, grandchildren Alexis Cranford and Payton; siblings Betty (the late James) White of Ypsilanti, Sandra (Lester) Orphey of Louisiana, Doris Rougeau, Gwen Rougeau, Cheryl (David) Clifton, Karen (Eric) Stevens and Sonya Rougeau, all of Ypsilanti, in addition to many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Melvin Rougeau.

A funeral service will be held 11 am Monday, April 28, 2025 at St. John Missionary Baptist Church (866 Monroe Street, Ypsilanti). In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Angela Hospice online or by mail: 14100 Newburgh Road, Livonia, MI 48154.
